Meadow Madness
One of the games that you might choose play with your knitted bumble bees is Meadow Madness.
You will need
- at least 2 knitted bumble bees
- a range of sticky flowers from a craft shop
- 2 green sheets or blankets
- up to 30 participants
Instructions
- Divide the participants into two groups, give each group a sheet/blanket
- Get the participants to plant their meadow by sticking the flowers onto the two sheets
- Let them practice flying their bee in their meadow and between the two meadows, as you would with a parachute game
- Then slowly increase the gap between the sheets, as you do this you can introduce the idea that habitats are becoming fragmented and further apart making it harder for pollinators to reach food and shelter.
